Every payment is checked on Solana before it counts as paid.
A payment counts only when the Solana transaction shows USDC arriving in the seller's wallet.
Bagpay does not take the buyer's browser at its word. A page can say paid when nothing was sent. So before any payment is marked as paid, Bagpay reads the transaction itself and confirms that the listed price in USDC reached the seller's wallet. Only then does a receipt exist.
A receipt points at the transaction, so anyone can verify it.
on every receipt
The facts recorded by the transaction itself
Three things that make a Bagpay receipt worth trusting.
01
A payment is marked paid by reading the Solana transaction and nothing else. If the USDC did not reach the seller's wallet, there is no receipt, whatever a screen says.
02
Every receipt links to the transaction on Solscan. The buyer, the seller or a third party can open it and see the same record. Nobody has to take Bagpay's word for it.
03
Each seller gets a private page that lists every payment made to their button. It is the one place to check what has been paid before you ship or grant access.
01
When the Solana transaction shows the listed price in USDC arriving in the seller's wallet. That is the only test. The buyer signs one transaction, the network confirms it within seconds, and Bagpay reads the result from the chain. If the USDC is in the seller's wallet, the payment is marked paid and a receipt is created. If the transaction failed or never landed, nothing is marked and no receipt exists.
02
Because a browser is under the control of whoever is using it. A page can be edited to show a success screen, and a message that says paid can be sent without any money moving. If a checkout accepted that message, a seller could ship goods or open access for a payment that never happened. Bagpay ignores what the buyer's side claims and looks at the transaction on Solana instead. The chain cannot be edited by the buyer, so it is the one source both sides can rely on. A payment is real when the USDC is in the seller's wallet, and that is exactly what gets checked.
03
On your private orders page. When you create a button or a link you get a page that lists every payment made to it. Each entry has been checked on-chain before it appears there, and each one links to its transaction on Solscan. If you sell something that has to be shipped or delivered by hand, this is the list to work from. The page is private to you as the seller, so keep its address to yourself. The USDC itself needs no collecting, since every payment listed there is already in your wallet.
04
A screenshot can be faked, but the transaction cannot. Every real receipt links to a transaction on Solscan, and that record shows the USDC moving into your wallet. If someone sends you an image and claims they paid, open your orders page or look at your wallet. A payment that is not there did not happen.
05
Seconds. A payment is one Solana transaction, and Solana confirms transactions quickly. As soon as it confirms, the USDC is in the seller's wallet and Bagpay can read the result from the chain. The buyer sees the receipt and the payment appears on the seller's orders page. There is no pending period after that, no settlement delay and no payout to wait for, because the money never passes through Bagpay on its way to you.
Create a button and every payment made to it is checked on-chain, linked to Solscan and listed on your private orders page. It takes a price, a name and a wallet.
