WHAT IT DOES

Taking memecoins without ending up holding them

A store that accepts a memecoin directly takes on that coin's price. You sell a shirt for a set amount of a coin, the coin falls before you sell it, and the sale is worth less than the shirt cost you. Then there is the work of pricing each product in each coin.

Bagpay removes that. You price the product in dollars. The shopper pays with whichever coin they hold. One transaction swaps it to USDC and sends you the exact price.

You never touch the memecoin, and you never have to guess what it will be worth tomorrow. The USDC goes straight to your wallet, with no balance held for you elsewhere.

SETUP

What a store sets up

Four things turn a product page into one that takes any coin.

Price

Set in dollars

Enter the product's price in US dollars. That is the amount you receive in USDC on every sale, whatever the shopper's coin does while they are paying.

Product

A name per button

Give the button the name of what it sells. Shoppers see that name at checkout, and it keeps your orders easy to tell apart.

Wallet

Where USDC lands

Add the Solana wallet that should receive the money. Every sale pays into it directly, and the USDC is there seconds after the shopper signs.

Orders

Your payment list

A private orders page lists every payment made to the button.

WHY IT WORKS

Why stores
use Bagpay

A store has different needs from a tip jar. Bagpay fits them.

01

Revenue in dollars

Your prices are in dollars and so is what you receive. A sale made at 40 dollars is 40 dollars in USDC in your wallet, with no coin to sell afterwards.

02

fits the store you have

The button is one script tag, so it goes into the product pages you already run. You do not move platforms or rebuild your catalogue to add it.

03

Orders you can ship from

Each payment is checked on-chain before it appears on your orders page. If it is on the list, the money is in your wallet and the order is safe to send.

QUESTIONS

Frequently
asked

01

How do I add Bagpay to a product page?

Create a button for the product with its price in dollars, its name and your receiving wallet. Bagpay gives you a script tag. Paste that tag into the product page where the pay button should sit. Most store platforms let you add custom code to a product template or a page section. Once it is in place, shoppers can pay with any Solana coin they hold.

02

Should I make one button for the whole store or one per product?

One per product, or one per price. A button carries a single fixed price and a single name, so each thing you sell at a different price needs its own button. That also keeps your records clear, because each button has its own orders page listing only the payments for that item. Make these buttons reusable, so that any number of shoppers can pay through them and they never expire. Use a one-time button when you are selling a single unique piece or sending a custom quote to one customer, since it closes after the first payment. All of them can pay into the same wallet. Creating a button takes a minute and costs nothing, so there is no reason to stretch one button across products it does not describe.

03

How should I price products if shoppers pay in memecoins?

Price them in dollars, the way you already do. You never set a price in BONK or WIF or any other coin. The checkout works out how much of the shopper's chosen coin is needed to cover your dollar price at that moment, and the swap turns it into USDC inside the payment. If the coin's price moves, the amount of coin changes and your dollar amount does not. Your price list stays exactly as it is, and you do not need to track any coin's chart.

04

How do I know an order was really paid before I ship it?

Check your orders page. A payment appears there only after the Solana transaction shows the full price in USDC arriving in your wallet. Bagpay does not rely on the shopper's browser reporting success, so a doctored confirmation screen or an edited screenshot gets nobody onto that list. Every entry links to its transaction on Solscan, where you can see the transfer into your wallet for yourself. The rule for fulfilment is simple. If the payment is on your orders page, the money has already arrived and you can ship. If a customer says they paid and there is no entry, the payment did not go through. Confirmation takes seconds, so there is no long wait between a sale and knowing it is safe to send the goods.

05

Will my store ever end up holding memecoins?

No. The shopper's coin is swapped to USDC inside their own payment transaction, and only USDC is sent to your wallet. The memecoin never passes through your hands, so there is nothing for you to sell, track or account for afterwards.
